History
Filmed by Bike was founded in 2003 by artist Ayleen Crotty. The festival began at a micro-theater in Portland, Oregon, with an enthusiastic crowd of bike-loving attendees. More than twenty years later, Filmed by Bike has grown into a prestigious event within the global bike movement. In 2024, Ayleen passed the torch to new owners: filmmakers Alden Roth, Erik Douds, and their team of friends and family.
