The St. Louis International Children's Film Festival will launch in January 2017.

Big Eyes, Big Minds was founded in 2010 by Mabel Gan. Mabel writes, directs and produces for film and television. She received a Master of Fine Arts degree in Motion Picture and Television from Florida State University, where her short film, Child Bride, was nominated for a Student Academy Award.

When she became a parent, Mabel discovered the amazing potential of using films to encourage critical thinking and creative expression in kids. This was the inspiration behind Big Eyes, Big Minds.
