No Matter What Level Of Actor You Are, Join Festival Of Cinema And Esteemed Casting Director Amy Gossels For The Opportunity To Learn Innovative On-Camera Audition Technique And Skills To That Will Elevate Your Auditions And Gain Coveted Industry Insight To Boost Your Career In This Transformative Masterclass. As An Educator, Amy’s Mission Is To Empower Actors And With That Goal In Mind, Her Teaching Style Is Highly Specific, Actionable And Results-Oriented And Tailored For Both Seasoned And Emerging Actors.
This Class Will Begin With An In-Depth Opening Talk That Will Touch On Many Of The Things Actors Can Do To Vastly Improve Their On-Camera Auditions. Amy Will Then Share Demonstrate Her Signature Cold-Read Technique, Which Transforms Both In-Person And Self-Taped Auditions. For Instructional Purposes, Commercial Copy Will Be Used, However Amy’s Technique And Approach Can Be Applied To All Kinds Of Auditions.
The Second Half Of This Session Will Consist Of One-On-One Coaching With 10 Actors Who Volunteer To Work On Cold Copy With Amy. During This “Work" Part Of The Session, Those Who Do Not Volunteer Will Be Able To Watch Each Actor’s Work On A Monitor And See How Applying Amy’s Technique Along With Her Focused Guidance And Direction Markedly Elevates Each Actor's Read.
