In his effort to adapt, he attempts to erase the traces of his brief past—though they never fully disappear. In Italy, Vakhim has his older sister Maklin, but everything changes when a letter arrives—his birth mother reaching out to inquire about her son. Francesca and Simone, his adoptive parents, decide to embark on a journey to find her.
