Three French journalists accept a risky invitation from the Khmer Rouge to visit Cambodia in 1978. Their journey becomes a dangerous odyssey as they witness the regime's brutality and struggle to report the truth.

Join us for an exciting session highlighting Khmer American writers. Each author will share some of their work, followed by a moderated panel and book signing. All are welcome.

Johnny Phan grew up balancing his Cambodian heritage with American life. As a son of refugees, an elite cyclist and a new father, Johnny takes to his bike to navigate a journey of identity that takes him to the other side of the world. He learns what it means to fully embrace his heritage in a world that tells him he’s neither fully American nor fully Cambodian.
