Washington, DC Polish Film Festival presented by the Kosciuszko Foundation in Washington, DC Chapter, now brings another important cultural event to the nation's capital.

Poland, with many great directors and actors all working at the same time, sharing their vision, is capturing attention around the world with films of startling power and depth.

The Festival brings the best of new Polish films to Washington, DC returning us once again to the movie theatre where we can enjoy great cinema together and an unforgettable experience of contemporary Polish culture.

The WPFF is proud to announce that an Oscar-nominated filmmaker, Agnieszka Holland, the director of the recent important film Green Border, has agreed to be the honorary patron of our Festival. Also, the Festival is a juried competition, which means that both feature films and short films compete for prizes such as best film, best director, best actor, and best actress. Leading the jury this year is the Oscar-nominated director of Boże Ciało (Corpus Christie), Jan Komasa.
